Cookies and Consent

Some features on this site (Google Analytics) only load after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking or tapping on „Manage your consent“. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

Embedded YouTube Videos

We embed videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

The video is only loaded after you consent. Once loaded, YouTube receives your IP address and device/browser information and may set cookies, in order to deliver and measure the video. This may involve transferring data to Google LLC in the USA (see Section 6).

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web-analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

Analytics is only activated after you consent. It processes usage data (pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type) and your IP address, and it sets cookies. IP addresses are shortened/anonymized before further processing. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (see Section 6).

Links to Discord

Our site contains a link to our Discord server. Clicking the link takes you to a service operated by Discord (Discord Netherlands BV / Discord Inc.). We do not transmit your personal data to Discord ourselves, but once you follow the link and use Discord, your data is processed by Discord under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Mailing List

If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your email address to send you our newsletter and updates.

We use Mailjet (Sinch Email / Mailjet SAS, 13-13 bis rue de l’Aubrac, 75012 Paris, France) as our email-delivery provider. Mailjet processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We use a double opt-in procedure: you will receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after you confirm.

International Data Transfer

Some of the providers above (Google) may process data in the USA. Such transfers are safeguarded through the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards from us.
